Hey I’m getting my first ever Goyard Artois next month but I’ve seen many negative reviews stating that the straps/colours melts off? Kinda skeptical now since I live in a city with very high temperatures all year round and I don’t want to splurge on a bag that will melt. Can anyone confirm this? Ive seen people complain about the vinyl dye melting and transferring, but I’ve never seen anyone have the same exact issues with the handles deteriorating.. hopefully this is just an isolated incident/QC thing. Has anyone else had this issue with their goyard? The Saint Louis tote is easy to wear. The top handle drop is nice and roomy, to make the bag into a shoulder bag. It can also be carried in your hands, or in the crook of your arm. It comes with a small matching removable pouch/wallet to hold credit cards and cash. Those who have the regular St. Louis bag might know that there’s largely two points of potential weakness on the bag – the corners, which can get scuffed and even wear away to holes over time, and the handles, which can break if too much weight is added.
